HERE ARE THE TYPES OF CABLE: 1. Twisted Pair Cable             a  .STP-Shielded Twisted Pair       b. UTP-Unshielded Twisted Pair 2. Coaxial Cable 3. Fiber-optic Cable 1. Twisted-Pair-Cable  It is the most common type of cable and have eight individual copper wires bundled together and covered with an insulating material.                     a. Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) picture source:  https://5.imimg.com/data5/BS/UQ/MY-35673791/shielded-twisted-pair-cable-500x500.jpg                 Often used in 'noisy' environments where a shield of metallic foil is wrapped around each of the wire pairs, with an additional overall shielding to protect against excessive electromagnetic interference.             b. Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP)  picture source:  https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/foscoshopify/graphics/uploads/2011/01/UTP-Cable-Picture.jpg              - Is the most common type form of twisted pair wiring and less expen

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF NETWORK TOPOLOGY?

LINEAR BUS TOPOLOGY   Linear bus topology  is a type of network topology  which each device  is connected one after the other in a sequential chain (shown right). In this case, the bus is the network connection between the devices, and if any link in the network chain is severed, all network transmission is halted. It works well for small networks because it is simple to set up and utilizes shorter cables  since each device is connected to the next. It is a poor solution for larger networks, however since the entire network relies on each connection, and network speed is reduced as more devices are added. source: https://www.computerhope.com/jargon/l/linear-bus-topology.htm STAR TOPOLOGY   Alternatively referred to as a  star network ,  star topology  is one of the most common network setups. In this configuration, every node  connects to a central network device, like a hub, switch,  or computer. The central network device acts as a server  and the peripheral device

PERSONAL AREA NETWORK https://www.conceptdraw.com/How-To-Guide/personal-area-networks A  personal area network  ( PAN ) is a computer network  for interconnecting devices centered on an individual person's workspace. A PAN provides data transmission  amongst devices such as computers, smartphones, tablets, and personal assistants.   PANs can be used for communication amongst the personal devices themselves, or for connecting to a higher level network and the Internet where one master device takes up the role as gateway . A PAN may be carried over wired computer buses such as USB LOCAL AREA NETWORK  https://www.webopedia.com/TERM/L/local_area_network_LAN.html A  local area network  ( LAN ) is a computer network  that interconnects computers within a limited area such as a residence, school, laboratory, university campus or office building.
